Welcome to The Honest Journey where science meets heart in your journey to authentic wellbeing

With over a decade in healthcare and a deep-rooted passion for psychology and mental health, I created The Honest Journey as a space where evidence meets empathy, and where real transformation begins with honest conversations

I hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Psychology with Counselling and I'm currently working towards my MSc in Psychotherapeutic Counselling. I've pursued specialised training in CBT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and clinical psychology, always driven by a deep curiosity about what helps people truly heal.

My journey in healthcare began in dental nursing, where I spent years working directly with patients, understanding their fears, their pain, and their need for compassionate care. This foundation taught me that healing happens not just through clinical expertise, but through genuine human connection. Through my years in healthcare and mental health support, I've learned that recovery isn't linear. The most profound transformations often come from the smallest shifts, and what we need most is a space where our struggles are met with compassion, not judgement, where we can be honest about the beautiful, complicated reality of being human.

The Honest Journey was born from this belief. Launched in August 2025, this platform blends evidence-based psychological insights with real-world experience, offering practical strategies and deeper understanding for anyone navigating life's challenges.

Our Mission Unfolded

The Honest Journey is an educational platform where evidence-based psychology meets real-world experience. Through articles, resources, and open conversations, we explore mental health, relationships, and what it truly means to live authentically. Here, you'll find insights grounded in science and heart, making psychological knowledge accessible for everyone navigating life's challenges

Emptiness

We believe in the power of understanding and the importance of honest conversation. By sharing evidence-based insights and creating spaces for open dialogue, we aim to reduce stigma, increase awareness, and support informed wellbeing. Mental health isn't about perfection; it's about embracing the beauty of being  human
